Houston artist Alexcusemy has dropped off his latest EP, titled Warning Shot. “About Me”, produced by Silversurfersosurreal, makes for a strong opener with its addictive, hypnotic synths and bouncy 808s. Here, Alexcusemy delivers a potent vocal performance that feels triumphant and fun-loving, with clever, charismatic lines laced throughout his verses. “No Interference”, featuring J.R.A., appears to float with its colorful, uplifting synths and mood of victory. Closer “Yours Truly” presents a slightly different sound and feels subtly gospel influenced, with its grand keys, powerful synths, and captivating vocals from Alexcusemy.
