Kansah Goes Back To His Grime Routes With ‘Emotions’

Kansah’s latest single, “Emotions,” is a testament to the global appeal of grime and rap music. He draws inspiration from artists like Nines, Nipsey Hussle, Potter Payper, Stormzy, Meek Mill, and Dave, and his unique style is gaining attention worldwide.

Kansah originally wrote this track several years ago, inspired by Meek Mill’s “1942 Flows.” He knew that to create a track with universal resonance, he needed the perfect beat. That’s when he teamed up with London-based producer Essay Beats. The track was recorded at No Stars studio in London and engineered by Marcuz Beatz. The process was a challenging yet rewarding experience, especially since they simultaneously shot the music video and a behind-the-scenes video during the recording session. Kansah’s dedication even led him to record on one of the hottest days of the year, showcasing his commitment to his craft.

This talented artist has already garnered significant attention. His previous work has been featured on BBC WM, BBC Introducing, and various college and university radio stations across the UK, USA, and Europe. Additionally, major radio stations in Nigeria have recognized his talent. As for future plans, Kansah is gearing up for something big.
