Higher Planets: Interview with Jackpot Flexx

I had the pleasure of speaking with Jackpot Flexx to understand the mindset of a brilliant man. He is versatile, creative and ultimately a visionary. We sit down with Jackpot Flexx to uncover his genius.

Who are you and what do you do?

My name is Jackpot Flexx and I consider myself diverse in many roles: Im a content creator, I do voice overs, screen writer, brand builder, influencer and podcaster

In your opinion What role does the artist have in society?

I feel like an artist role in society is to lead with confidence. People are always watching Gossip sites or they support negative criticism. So I believe its time for an artist to step up to the plate not wiling to fold but remains resilience. I want to be that inspiration to inspire the youth to do different.

Describe a real-life situation that inspired you?

A real life situation inspired me was when a FSN from Germany hit me on Instagram saying she found my music on spotify and it gave her confidence to pursue her music career

Name three artists you’d like to be compared to.

3 artist I been compared to is Kevin Gates, MJG and Don trip

Creative expression can take many forms, what made you decide to start your own fashion brand while pursuing music?

I always been sharp in my imagination. As a child I was into the uni6 and watched the Starz gazing into the unknown. My great uncle was a blues guitar player and singer. My grand mother and her sisters used to sing with him at all the party gatherings. It was inherited through my bloodline to be involved with music. My Higher Planets Clothing Brand was inspired by the movie “ET” lol but i always had a tribal spirit growing up in the deep woods of Louisiana. Seeing how crafty family was gave me a sense of urgency to create from passion and imagination. So my brand is frequency channeling.

What’s your favorite part about being a fashion designer?

Favorite part about being a designer is that I can tap in unlimited directions of styles and templates that relate to my projection approach

Could you tell us the meaning behind your clothing brand?

Meaning behind my clothing brand is going inside yourself un raveling your deepest roots to plant seeds of cosmic rays

Explain how you prioritize your duties as an artist and owning a clothing brand?

I’m very big on being unorthodox when I prioritize because majority of the time I’m moving telepathicly on my channeling

How do you manage work life balance?

My nature is competitive so anything I’m normally doing is based around my brand passively or blindly lol I’m visualizing how I can bring content around the environment

What advice would you give someone who wants to start their own fashion brand while pursuing music like you?

My advice is lead with your passion over your emotion. Stay consistent in your will of presence. Take it one step at a time because one step is better than none.
